As a new subscriber to SMS backup, I’m
unable to backup my Google Voice messages. The phone number used for GVoice is different than the cell number I use for my Android device (which uses Google “Messages”). The app successfully backed up from Messages, using my cellphone device number, but when I updated the Info I used for Messages and replaced it with my Google Voice number, it didn’t even find the app or use this number.
Can you please help me? As you probably know, GVoice text messages get backed up automatically as “chat” messages within my Gmail account. How can I get SMS-Backup to pull from that database?
