How to Cancel Your Subscription

Overview

If you subscribed to SMS Backup, Print & Restore through Google Play, you can cancel your subscription anytime from your Google account. Canceling stops future renewals. You will typically keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Before you cancel

  • Canceling prevents future charges from Google Play for this subscription.
  • You usually keep premium access until your current billing cycle ends (monthly/yearly), even after canceling.
  • Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

Cancel your subscription (Google Play)

Option 1: Cancel using the Google Play Subscriptions page (fastest)

  1. Open this link in your browser (signed into the Google account used for the purchase):

  2. Find SMS Backup, Print & Restore in your list of subscriptions.
  3. Select the subscription.
  4. Tap or click Cancel subscription.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.

Option 2: Cancel from the Google Play app (Android)

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right).
  3. Select Payments & subscriptions.
  4. Tap Subscriptions.
  5. Select SMS Backup, Print & Restore.
  6. Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.

If you purchased “Lifetime Access”

Lifetime Access is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. That means there is nothing to “cancel” to stop renewals.

You can review your one-time purchases (including Lifetime Access) in your Google Play order history:

Confirm your cancellation

  • Return to the Google Play Subscriptions page and verify that the subscription shows as Canceled or displays an expiration date.
  • Keep the confirmation email from Google Play for your records.

Common issues

  • Subscription not listed: Make sure you are signed into the same Google account that was used to purchase the subscription.
  • Still seeing ads or locked features: If you canceled, access may continue until the end of the current billing period. You can also restart the app after cancellation to refresh status.
